Fundraising

• Returning Families: All families are required to participate in the annual combination fundraiser.
• New Families: If this is your very first season with NPHA (and you have no other siblings in the program), you are exempt from the requirement this year—though you are always welcome to join in!
• Buyout Families: If you chose the "Buyout" option during registration, you have already fulfilled your requirement.

Families can choose to sell products or pay a buyout fee.

Pro-Tip: If you sell more than your requirement, you can earn money back! NPHA offers a monetary incentive of up to 1/4 of the amount over your goal (capped at the total of your season's skater, tournament, and tryout fees).

If you choose to sell but don't quite hit the $700 or $900 goal, you simply pay the difference to match what the association would have made from a buyout.

The "Slapshot Family" Example: The Slapshots have two kids and a $900 sales commitment.

• They sold $250 in wreaths and $350 in pizzas (Total: $600).
• They are $300 short of their sales goal.
• Because NPHA profits 50% on sales, the family would owe an invoice of $150.
• This $150 payment, combined with the profit from their $600 in sales, equals the $450 family buyout.
